Cute & Green Easter Toys

Posted by in Eco, Green, Recycle on Feb 21st, 2010 | no responses

If you’re beginning to consider some nice eco Easter gifts for kiddos, you might find these cuties interesting. Jennifer Chait at inhabitots has posted cool finds from Apple Park , a green company founded in San Francisco. The toys are called Picnic Pals . The sweet little lamb and other adorable plush toys are made with 100% organic cotton for the soft fur. The inside contains sustainable materials like corn fiber, organic cotton and recycled (non-toxic) plastic pellets. They come gift-ready in an apple box made of recycled paper. They’re all so cute, but I have to say I love the monkey best. It’s not exactly Easter themed like the rabbit or duck, but, what can I say, I’m a monkey person. And how can you resist that heart-shaped nose? Apple Park also offers Picnic Pal blankies in all the characters above, an apple seed rattle and deluxe blankets trimmed with natural silk. Their products are certified non-toxic and non-phthalate. There’s also nothing else yucky for baby and kids like PVC or harmful dyes. What do you think of the Picnic Pals?
